CLIENT PARTNER PROFILE & VALUE PROPOSITION: Leapros has been engaged by one of the Greater Chicagoland's leading Electrical Contractors for the direct-hire opportunity of Electrical Project Manager. This Electrical Contractor is working on some of Chicago's most exciting projects and quality candidates will have long-term and rewarding careers.
POSITION TITLE: Electrical Project Manager


RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Review estimates, contract documents and plans and submit RFIs for clarification
  • Attend construction walkthroughs and job meetings
  • Coordinate with GC/Developer and other trades on construction schedule
  • Work with foremen to plan, organize, and direct activities related to projects
  • Manage jobsite construction and verify that construction is proceeding in accordance with design specs
  • Manage and oversee safety, quality control, permitting and licensing, outage planning, change orders, progress reporting, and closeout reporting
  • Ensure each stage of the project happens on time, on budget, and to a high standard
  • Resolve any issues or delays
  • Establish and strengthen new relationships with customer base
  • Other project manager duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have working knowledge of current and local electrical codes
  • Proven experience as project manager or similar position. 10+ years’ experience preferred
  • Knowledge of trade services; Chicagoland experience preferred
  • Great work ethics; trustworthy and discreet
  • Thoroughness and reliability; ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; proficient in Word and Excel
  • Able to network effectively and professionally with customers, vendors, suppliers and company team members 

PAY TRANSPARENCY: A reasonable estimate of the available pay scale for this position is: $80,000-$125,000. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on qualifications and other factors essential to the performance of duties and is determined by the hiring authority.
