Dubak Electrical Group LLC is growing and seeking an Assistant Electrical Project Manager to join our National Projects Team. This role offers the opportunity to assist with managing diverse electrical construction projects across industries and locations nationwide.
Role Overview:
As an Assistant Electrical Project Manager, you will assist in overseeing the full project lifecycle - from business development and estimating through execution and closeout. You will partner with the Project Manager for project delivery, ensuring scope, cost, and schedule goals are met while maintaining client satisfaction and safety standards.
The typical project values range from $250K to $4.5MM in the heavy commercial and light industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Project Manager to manage electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Assist with budgeting, scheduling, change management, and cost tracking
  • Collaborate to oversee subcontractors, labor resources, and field supervision
  • Coordinate multi-trade installation methods (electrical, mechanical, civil, structural)
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements
  • Maintain strong client relationships and pursue new business opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver technical documents, proposals, and presentations
  • Help to provide value engineering analysis to optimize cost and efficiency

Qualifications:
  • Electrical field experience with industrial/commercial electrical projects
  • Knowledge in electrical systems + general knowledge of mechanical, civil, and structural work
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing
  • Ability to assist with management of multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
  • Self-motivated with leadership and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel to project sites at a minimum of 75%
