Job description

Electrical Assembly
 
Automation Personnel Services Inc. is currently hiring an experienced Electrical Assembler for a leading manufacturing company in Baytown, TX. The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling, wiring, troubleshooting, and testing electrical panels, control systems, and electronic components using engineering blueprints, electrical schematics, and work orders. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in industrial manufacturing, control panel assembly, or electrical equipment production.

Payrate
$21.00-$23.00 per hour 

Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Saturday 7am- 7pm must be flexible for rotation if needed.

Electrical Assembler Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels, cabinets, 480V 3PH motors and electronic components.
  • Route, terminate, and label wiring according to specifications.
  • Working with multi-conductor cable, twisted pair and triad cable or shielded cable.
  • Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and quality inspections.
  • Identify and resolve assembly issues while maintaining production deadlines.
  • Properly strips and prepares end of conductor using ferrules, insulated and non-insulated terminals.
  • Wiring of various types of devices and instruments included, pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, fire and gas equipment (sensors, detectors, aerosol canisters)
  • Working with Roxtecs and other multi-cable sealing solutions.
Electrical Assembler Requirements and Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as an Electrical Assembler or Panel Builder preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Experience assembling electrical panels, control boxes, or industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing equipment such as multimeters.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. (Test administered in office)
  • High school diploma or GED
