The Electrical MEP Coordinator acts as a vital link between project owners, field teams, and commissioning agents, ensuring that project requirements are met and installations are executed safely and efficiently. This position offers the opportunity to lead documentation, drive quality assurance, and play a key role in project delivery.
NOTE: This is a traveling position with 3 weeks onsite/1 week work from home - candidates can reside anywhere in the U.S. *locations may include GA, MS, AZ, VA, WI, NV, etc pending current needs*

Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate electrical installation methods to align with project design and quality standards.
- Verify compliance and quality of electrical and basic mechanical/control systems installations.
- Serve as the primary onsite point-of-contact for owner representatives, subcontractors, field service representatives, and commissioning agents.
- Facilitate issue resolution and maintain alignment with project schedules.
- Drive commissioning readiness, including pre-functional checks and load-soak preparation, and maintain structured reporting.
- Lead field documentation using Procore, including management of punch lists, PTP verifications, and safety walkdowns (LOTO/PPE).
- Maintain accurate documentation such as photos, checklists, and punch items, and communicate project status and risks to leadership and customers.
- Escalate issues as needed and ensure project schedules are maintained, especially when leadership is offsite.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting for electrical systems and basic mechanical/control interfaces.
Qualifications
- 3โ5 years of construction experience, with a focus on electrical systems preferred.
- Completion of 2 years of trade school, college, or equivalent journeyman experience.
- Proficiency in Procore and Adobe/PDF editing tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
- Working knowledge of ATS, UPS, and switchgear systems.
- Exposure to commissioning processes and EPMS/SCADA concepts.
- Valid driverโs license and ability to travel within North America as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Preferred: OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire); Schneider PME certification is a plus.
