Job description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality construction projects with a focus on electrical systems and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) coordination. As an Electrical MEP Coordinator, you will play a key role in bridging owner project requirements with onsite activities, ensuring seamless execution from installation through commissioning. This position offers the opportunity to lead documentation, quality verification, and cross-trade communication, while providing hands-on troubleshooting and supporting project success. Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate installation methods to align with project design requirements, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for owner representatives, subcontractors, field service representatives, and commissioning agents to facilitate issue resolution and maintain project schedules.
  • Drive commissioning readiness by conducting pre-functional checks, preparing for load-soak activities, and maintaining structured reporting.
  • Lead field documentation efforts using Procore, including managing punch lists, performing PTP verifications, and conducting safety walkdowns (LOTO/PPE).
  • Maintain accurate project documentation such as photos, checklists, and punch items, and communicate project status and risks to leadership and customers.
  • Act as the onsite point-of-contact in the absence of project leadership, escalating issues as needed to keep the project on track.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of construction experience, with a preference for electrical backgrounds.
  • Completion of 2 years of trade school or college, or equivalent journeyman experience.
  • Proficiency in Procore and Adobe/PDF editing tools or similar software.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of ATS, UPS, and switchgear systems, with exposure to commissioning.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and travel within North America as required.
  • Preferred certifications: OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain within the first 30 days of employment).
