Compensation: $70,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus + Health Benefits + Company Take-Home Truck

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead the daily operations of our fast-paced residential electrical contracting company in the Nashville market. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing field operations, office staff, customer satisfaction, scheduling, financial performance, and business growth while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader with extensive residential electrical management experience who thrives in a high-volume environment and is committed to developing employees while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the residential electrical division.
  • Lead, coach, and develop office staff, project managers, dispatchers, and field personnel.
  • Oversee scheduling, manpower allocation, and workflow to maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), budgets, profitability, and operational performance.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain top talent.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and local electrical codes.
  • Resolve customer concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, profitability, and company growth.
  • Work closely with ownership to establish operational goals and execute business initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Manager in a fast-paced residential electrical contracting company, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of residential electrical construction, service operations, and scheduling.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, labor costs, and operational performance.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Employment Requirements
