We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Electrical Engineer for AI server repair.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Provide electrical engineering expertise supporting the diagnosis, failure analysis, repair, testing, and continuous improvement of AI servers, GPU platforms, server motherboards, power systems, networking hardware, storage systems, and other high-performance computing equipment.
  • Lead engineering projects to identify electrical and hardware design issues in customer products and partner with customers and OEM engineering teams to implement containment, corrective, and preventive actions.
  • Develop and perform advanced electrical troubleshooting and failure analysis at the system, board, and component levels to identify root causes of intermittent, complex, and repeat failures.
  • Analyze schematics, PCB layouts, circuit designs, component specifications, test results, firmware interactions, and electrical measurements to isolate hardware failures.
  • Develop and maintain closed-loop failure analysis and knowledge-management processes that capture repair findings and translate them into improved diagnostics, repair procedures, and technician capabilities.
  • Lead investigations of pervasive or difficult-to-diagnose hardware issues and provide technical recommendations to Operations, Quality, Engineering, and customer teams.
  • Develop and maintain engineering training materials and technical troubleshooting guides for new AI server platforms, hardware revisions, diagnostic methods, and repair technologies.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by evaluating repairability, test coverage, diagnostics, tooling, component availability, technical documentation, and technician training requirements.
  • Direct and provide technical guidance to engineering technicians and other support personnel performing analysis, testing, prototyping, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Design of Experiments (DOE), and other structured problem-solving activities.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, improved test coverage, predictive diagnostics, and data-driven troubleshooting to improve repair quality and operational efficiency.
  • Support customer audits, engineering reviews, quality investigations, and technical escalations.
  • Perform other engineering projects and duties as assigned.

Education, Training and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of engineering experience supporting electronics manufacturing, server repair, OEM manufacturing, or high-technology service operations. 2-3 years of AI server experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting AI servers, GPU platforms, enterprise computing hardware, networking equipment, or data center infrastructure strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI), engineering validation, and production readiness activities.
  • Strong knowledge of component-level troubleshooting, electronic diagnostics, digital and analog circuit analysis, power systems, firmware, and embedded hardware preferred.
  • Experience developing automated test systems, diagnostic tools, repair procedures, and manufacturing process controls.
  • Proven expertise in root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), statistical process control (SPC), and reliability engineering.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent continuous improvement certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, schematics, PCB layouts, bills of materials (BOMs), specifications, and engineering change management processes.
  • Experience managing engineering capital projects, budgets, and resource planning.
  • Advanced analytical, technical writing, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Visio); experience with ERP, PLM, MES, and engineering data management systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interface effectively with customers, suppliers, and executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth technical environment with minimal supervision.
