Job description

Electrical Engineers are also responsible for:
  • Creating new electrical schematics to satisfy Product Definition functionality requirements
  • Working with PCB layout personnel to ensure proper circuit board artwork generation
  • Incorporating new technology while leveraging existing RLWS designs as much as possible
  • Finding and implementing design changes of existing products as potential quality issues arise
  • Finding and implementing design changes of existing products to reduce costs or address obsolete components
  • Writing and performing Engineering Change Orders as directed
  • Working with programmers to test and debug new designs or ECO implementations
  • Testing new or modified circuit assemblies to meet performance, environmental, and regulatory requirements

Ideal, qualified applicants will have:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Five (5) or more years of experience working with electronics; experience in electronic production and/or weighing a plus.
  • Two or more years' experience with circuit board development would be preferred.
  • Outstanding personal computing skills including Excel, Word, Project; professional written & verbal communication skills required
  • This position requires strong analytic and problem-solving skills and advanced knowledge of electronics
  • Signal processing, Analog Design, Strong Data Analysis & Simulation background preferred
