Mechanical Engineer Data Analyst Jobs in Wisconsin

Cleaver Brooks is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Monroe, WI. Job title is responsible for performing a variety of engineering assignments designing and developing burner and boiler-related equipment, using CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor) that exceeds customers’ needs and expectations, following established policies and procedures. This role will be responsible for technical knowledge related to assigned products, communicating this to other departments, and for providing required technical support. In addition to technical product knowledge and support, this role will also analyze and evaluate any issues with current products to develop effective solutions.

Essential Duties:

· Analytical Skills - Must be able to analyze testing results, operations data, and other issues, identifying the root cause of the issue and recommending solutions to ensure equipment availability and reliability.

· Communication Skills - Must communicate issues concerning component production and operations to management, clarify field issues with operations personnel. They should also be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Translates technical guidance from senior engineers or engineering management into useable engineering data applicable to assigned product(s). Communicates this technical information and direction to other internal departments as required.

· Creativity - Design and build complex pieces of equipment and machinery, often developing innovative approaches and solutions to projects and issues. As directed by senior engineers or engineering management, initiates or directs changes to products, procedures, or specifications. Make recommendations as necessary.

· Interpersonal Skills - Work across departments within their organization as well as establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers.

· Math Skills - Understand the principles of calculus, trigonometry, and other advanced topics in mathematics for analysis, design, and troubleshooting in their work

· Mechanical skills - Mechanical skills allow engineers to apply basic engineering concepts and mechanical processes to the design of new devices. Such a background allows engineers to visualize basic engineering concepts and mechanical processes more easily.

· Problem-solving skills - Must have the ability to identify issues, analyze data and other relevant information, and develop solutions to problems. They should minimize the impact of solutions on project budgets, timelines, production, or operational capabilities.

· Working Environment: Position requires ability to work in a normal office, design/drafting environment, and may require occasional/regular exposure to production plant(s) environment with welding, machining, and fabrication operations.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

One year of experience in product engineering is preferred but would be willing to train the right candidate. Combustion/burner experience is highly preferred.

CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor)

Physical Skill and Effort:

Limited manual dexterity required. Work requires infrequent physical effort.
