Job description

About the role:

As an entry level Electrical Engineer, you will work independently using basic knowledge obtained from core college courses. Projects will focus on engineering design for nuclear products electrical system design, instrumentation and controls design. You will develop your skills in the development of engineering design documents like calculations and specifications.

You will report to the Manager - large project electrical systems. This role is located in Rock Hill, SC and is a hybrid position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use Software Packages like Mathcad, Matlab, PSPice or equivalent
  • Learn new software package
  • Provide engineering design like electrical system design, instrumentation and controls (I&C) designs, and system wiring
  • Work w/ our teams on similar engineering level to obtain necessary information
  • Plan and scheduling work to meet requirements
  • Use standards, techniques, procedures and criteria for development of engineering design documents including calculations and specifications
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; 2025 and 2026 graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum GPA 3.0
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Willing to travel to client sites
