Electrical Construction Project Manager – Lead Commercial Power and Control Installations

Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will serve as a critical project leader, driving the successful execution of large-scale commercial electrical and control projects ranging from $500K to over $15M. This role allows you to manage complex financial and technical workflows while ensuring high-quality delivery for a company that values professional accountability. You will have the autonomy to manage project lifecycles from procurement to completion with the support of a team that fosters long-term career growth.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Direct all phases of commercial electrical projects to ensure high-quality delivery within established scopes.

  • Analyze detailed drawings, specifications, and submittals to maintain strict project accuracy.

  • Coordinate complex communications between clients, design teams, and field crews to maintain project alignment.

  • Execute the procurement process by finalizing costs and drafting commitments to suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Develop and track comprehensive project schedules and budgets to maintain strict profitability standards.

  • Manage project financials and documentation within the Procore platform to ensure total transparency.

  • Formulate and present change orders and RFIs to project shareholders using advanced estimating software.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of project management experience specifically within commercial electrical construction.

  • Proven proficiency in using Procore project management software for field and financial tracking.

  • Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and current NEC requirements.

  • Strong ability to read and interpret complex project plans, specifications, and architectural drawings.

  • Demonstrated experience managing project budgets and schedules for high-value commercial installations.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Proficiency in specialized industry software such as Conest Intellibid and Bluebeam.

  • Experience in lead-role coordination for projects exceeding $10M in scope.

  • Advanced skills in drafting AIA billing documents and schedules of values.
