Job description

H. A. Schreck Inc. is an electric motor, pump, and generator sales and service company serving the Mid-Hudson region. We provide knowledgeable repair and replacement services for a wide range of industrial, commercial, and residential equipment and processes.

We are currently seeking a reliable, local Inside Salesperson with experience in industrial and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with product selection and technical inquiries

  • Provide quotes for electric motors, pumps, and related accessories

  • Coordinate with vendors; maintain vendor relationships

  • Process sales orders and maintain customer relationships

  • Support customers with repair and replacement solutions

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience - DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THE MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT!

  • Knowledge of electric motors, pumps, HVAC, and related mechanical/electrical equipment

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to read specifications and understand technical products

  • Organized and dependable

Compensation:

  • Hourly pay, commensurate with experience

Location:

  • Position based in Poughkeepsie, NY serving the Mid-Hudson region.
