Job Summary:
Westinghouse Electric Company is committed to providing clean energy solutions and is seeking a Design Engineer for AI Enablement. The role involves supporting capital design teams by applying AI to engineering workflows, including the creation of reusable prompts and templates, while working closely with engineers on design tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Work side‑by‑side with engineers on active design work to demonstrate practical AI use
• Support creation of reusable prompts, templates, and bounded AI agents in consideration of engineering workflows
• Help translate successful use cases into repeatable team practices
• Track and report adoption, agent development, and quality/rework indicators
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering equivalent experience supporting engineering design deliverables accepted
• Familiarity with engineering documents and workflows in an industrial or regulated environment
• Comfortable with AI and digital productivity tools
