Customer Service - Elections Support

Location: Fort Myers, FL
Pay: $16.00/hour
Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday | 8:30 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM (Schedules may vary based on business needs)
Assignment Dates: July 29, 2026 โ€“ August 18, 2026

Position Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals for a temporary Ballot Layout Support position supporting the elections this year. This role plays an important part in preparing election ballots by ensuring information is entered accurately, reviewed carefully, and completed on schedule.

This is a temporary assignment, and candidates must be available to work the entire duration of the assignment from July 29 through August 18.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with ballot layout preparation and election support activities.
  • Enter, review, and verify ballot information with a high level of accuracy.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, to complete assigned tasks.
  • Proofread documents for formatting, spelling, and consistency.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive election materials.
  • Meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Perform additional administrative and clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Strong data entry, organizational, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Must be able to commit to the full assignment (July 29 โ€“ August 18).
  • Must be a registered voter in Lee County or a surrounding Florida county.
