Job description

Hands-on EHS leader responsible for environmental, health, and safety oversight in a manufacturing and warehousing facility. Reports to the Plant Manager with regional EHS support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulations.
  • Lead safety programs, including Behavior-Based Safety initiatives.
  • Conduct risk assessments, investigations, inspections, and compliance reporting.
  • Manage hazardous materials, waste programs, and environmental reporting.
  • Oversee safety training, emergency preparedness, and required documentation.
  • Serve as EHS advisor to site leadership and liaison during regulatory inspections and workers' compensation claims.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of EHS leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience with safety programs, compliance reporting, and hazardous waste regulations.
  • Relevant certifications (CSP, CHMM, CIH) preferred.
