Environmental Health and Safetyย 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for anย Environmental Health and Safetย candidateย for a company based inย Dalton,ย GA.ย In this role you will have the opportunity to workย forย a company that values safetyย andย takes pride in environmental stewardship with a "green thumb" mindset.ย 

Pay Rateย 
Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule and Hoursย 
Monday through Friday, 8ย 00 am to 5ย 00 pm.

Environmental Health and Safetyย Duties and Responsibilities
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses,ย documentย findings andย recommendย corrective actions to prevent recurrence.ย 
  • Maintain safety records, reports, permits, and compliance documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.ย 
  • Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce safe work practices throughout the facility.ย 
  • Assist with emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, and incident response activities.ย 
  • Collaborate with management and employees to develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.ย 

Environmental Health and Safetyย Qualificationsย andย Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required;ย associateโ€™s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.ย 
  • Previous experience in Environmental Health & Safety, manufacturing, warehousing, or an industrial environmentย required.ย 
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety standards, and environmental compliance practices.ย 
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to train and interact with employees at all levels.ย 
  • Employment is contingent upon successfully meeting all background screening and compliance requirements.
