As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will engage in the following duties:

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine patients' mental health status and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and eating disorders.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally responsive approaches to ensure that interventions resonate with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Provide clients with practical tools and coping strategies to foster resilience and support long-term recovery.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes within our EHR system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Coordinate care by making referrals to psychiatrists or other healthcare providers when additional support or medication management is required.
• Regularly review and revise treatment plans based on client feedback and progress, adjusting strategies to optimize outcomes.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license in Colorado as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience with a proven track record of effective therapy practices.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport and build trust with clients.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage high-stress situations with poise.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical practices.

• Experience working within a community health clinic or similar setting is preferred.
• Background in delivering culturally sensitive therapy and addressing the unique needs of diverse populations.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaborative care.
