Job description

Position is either part of the service crew or egg picker

Service Crew - Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Repair and maintain building (inside and out)
  • Prepare laying houses for next batch of birds
  • Move chickens from brooders to laying houses 
  • Depopulate laying houses
  • Keeping farm clean
  • Catch loose chickens
  • Help with other farm projects as needed
Egg Picker - Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Wear egg carrier with stack of egg trays
  • Walk an assigned row of birds and pick eggs (2 in each hand) and place in egg tray
  • Gather trays and stack on egg trucks
  • Work as a team with other egg pickers
  • Help with other farm projects as needed
  • Schedule includes weekends
Essential Functions:
  • Must be reliable and responsible to get to work on time
  • Must be ok with working on the weekends
Schedule: 7a - 4p (Must be available to work weekends) 
Starting Pay: $16 per hour
Job Location: Waianae
** WEEKLY PAY ** Health Insurance and Paid Holidays available ** 

** $200 Referral Bonus (w/ 80hrs worked) **
