About the Role

A leading professional association is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Education Programs Specialist to support the planning, coordination, and execution of educational programs throughout the year. This position plays an integral role in ensuring educational initiatives are delivered efficiently while collaborating with internal departments, volunteers, vendors, and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate administrative and operational activities for educational programs and events
  • Assist with planning, organizing, and executing educational initiatives from start to finish
  • Support the development and maintenance of online learning content within a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Prepare, edit, and distribute educational materials, communications, and program documentation
  • Coordinate faculty communications, registrations, agreements, schedules, and program logistics
  • Maintain project timelines, documentation, reports, and workflow systems to ensure deadlines are met
  • Collaborate with marketing, meetings, IT, customer service, and other internal teams to support successful program delivery
  • Track program metrics, evaluation data, and outcomes to support reporting and continuous improvement
  • Assist with budgeting, vendor coordination, shipping, signage, photography scheduling, and other event logistics
  • Ensure program records and documentation remain organized, accurate, and compliant with organizational standards
  • Support special projects and additional initiatives as assigned


Qualifications

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of project coordination, program coordination, event coordination, or administrative experience
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), professional associations, nonprofit organizations, or continuing education programs is a plus
