Responsibilities
  • Be the primary contact regarding all Professional Development (PD), and/or Parent Involvement for assigned school partners by way of thorough knowledge of the Catapult PD Catalog and various PD solution products.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong, positive, professional working relationships with school administration, PD Specialists, and other internal/external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the sale and delivery of tailored PD. Ensure customer satisfaction through program delivery, problem solving, collaboration, and frequent (weekly) communication; assess, evaluate, create, and improve program processes to ensure contract renewal.
  • Support schools on the spenddown of Title I, II, III, and IV funding, while ensuring maximum benefit to students and schools. Maintain records to ensure funding is accurately tracked by each Title funding source, including updating and maintaining internal tracking tools and ensuring timely payments.
  • Participate in consultation calls to discuss PD opportunities, provide program status updates, and/or prepare for upcoming professional development sessions and events.
  • Perform fiscal responsibilities including budget management, expense tracking, reconciling accounts, and forecasting.
  • Provide support (lead, develop, and motivate) to both onsite and virtual PD Specialists to provide high quality professional development. This includes conducting field observations, site visits, training/support, regular communication, and any additional means of support to ensure cohesive and consistent delivery of services and adherence to Catapult PD standards.
  • Monitor and ensure success of the Professional Development Program by conferring with PD Specialists, reviewing supporting documentation and logs, reviewing evaluation summary reports and meeting with school leadership.
  • Coordinate with the PD Director and other appropriate team members for all human resources/recruiting functions for PD specialists, including but not limited to selection, onboarding, training, evaluation, retention, and termination.
  • Maintain all records related to PD Specialist functions such as collecting supporting documentation, calendar reports, agendas, activity logs, invoices, and any additional documentation required to be submitted.
  • Coordinate all aspects of Catapult PD events, institutes, activities. This includes collecting, providing, and supporting documentation to be submitted to the district, and conducting any necessary follow up with schools.
  • Ensure customer service, program challenges, opportunities, and weekly updates are reported to all appropriate team members.
  • Attend meetings as scheduled by Manager/Director/Vice President.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in education or business field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • FL teaching certificate.
  • Experience managing teams.
  • Fiscal and budgetary management experience.
  • Adept at dealing with changes in work schedules and assignments based on school-related factors.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards internal and external customers.
  • A proven track record of fostering a collaborative working environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and organizational skills. Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of management and customers.
  • Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication, including Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Excel, etc.
  • Willingness to continually learn new information and skills.
  • Excel in constantly changing environments and adapt flexibly in shifting priorities or objectives.
  • Willingness and ability to travel between multiple school sites.
  • Experience working with school districts preferred.
  • Knowledge of current trends, issues, and challenges of K-12 education preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of technology and instructional media tools required.
