Job description

·        Assist the Educator(s) at Bionerds biology workshops for kids from K-8th grades.
·        Assist the kids with hands-on activities. Setting and cleaning up classroom before and after classes.  
·        Background in biology or other science preferred but not required.  Teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
Other Info and Desired Personality/Skills:
·        During school session (mid-August to May), required to work IN-PERSON a minimum of 3 days (M-F) between 12pm-6pm and minimum 10 hours per week. During summer session (June to mid-August), required to work IN-PERSON a minimum of 3 days (M-F), 4-8 hours per day between 8am-5pm. Able to work occasionally on weekends for private or marketing events for 2-5 hours. More availability is highly preferred. 
·        We need people who love working with kids, reliable, organized, flexible, eager to learn, team player, and have good communication skills. 
·        Requires travel to different cities in Orange County.  Must have a reliable transportation.
·        Need to pass a background/fingerprint check, drug, and TB tests.
·        Paid hourly, approximately up to 30 hours a week, depending on your availability and registration numbers. 
·        Able to earn working hours from home when assisting in different departments we have (Administration, Marketing, and Curriculum Team).
