Amergis is currently hiring compassionate and dependable School Aides to support students throughout the 2026–2027 school year in Santa Ana, California. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education, student success, and making a positive impact within the school community.

  • Pay Rate: $20–$22/hour (based on experience)
  • Schedule Options: Full-Time, Part-Time, and Substitute/Fill-In opportunities available based on district needs
  • Required: Must have 6+ ECE college credits
Position Overview

The School Aide works under the direction of teachers, special education staff, and other designated school personnel to provide instructional, behavioral, and classroom support to students. This role is essential in creating a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment while promoting students' academic, social, and behavioral growth.

Depending on the assignment, School Aides may also assist students with personal care, mobility needs, and therapeutic support services as directed by educational and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teachers with classroom instruction, organization, and daily activities
  • Provide one-on-one and small-group student assistance
  • Assist students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
