Job Description

UNMTemps, the University of New Mexico's internal temporary staffing department, seeks two temporary Distance Education Coordinators to join the UNM Project ECHO team.
This is a potential temp-to-regular opportunity for the selected temporary employees. Transition to regular status is at the discretion of the hiring department, dependent upon business need and employee performance.
Project ECHO is a lifelong learning and guided practice model that revolutionizes medical education and exponentially increases workforce capacity to provide best-practice specialty care and reduce health disparities. The heart of the ECHO model? is its hub-and-spoke knowledge-sharing networks, led by expert teams who use multi-point videoconferencing to conduct virtual clinics with community providers. In this way, primary care doctors, nurses, and other clinicians learn to provide excellent specialty care to patients in their own communities.
Position Summary:
Coordinates and facilitates information flow between faculty, distance education students, and various education sites. Assists in the production and distribution of distance education course materials, and schedules, and facilitates delivery of academic courses to students at remote sites. Conducts surveys and prepares reports as needed; develops and distributes promotional and informational materials, and may provide direct academic/administrative guidance and assistance to distance education students.
The temporary Distance Education Coordinator will:
1) Coordinate development and publication of agendas, didactic presentations, and other training material or events with Project ECHO faculty and staff.
2) Coordinate teleECHO clinic activities, which may include logistics for distance delivery technologies, facilitating, and enhancing day-to-day operating relations with site coordinators.
3) Coordinate the development and preparation of marketing and promotional plans and/or materials to ensure success of the DHA/MHS rollout.

Assignment Details:

Days & Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Parking Arrangements: Responsibility of employee
