Country Visions Cooperative is continuing to grow and now searching for an experienced full-time IT Manager for their Brillion location. This position will lead all IT functions, including information systems, technology and security for the Company. This role requires strategic vision and strong leadership skills to drive positive results. This position will manage multiple direct reports, is located in-person, and will report to the VP of Human Resources.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIESIT Infrastructure & Operations

Oversee and manage the companyโ€™s overall IT infrastructure, including computing, networking, databases, and supporting systems.

Provide oversight for network system selection and sizing, as well as solutions for other data communication requirements.

Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to systems and IT operations.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures, including data protection, encryption, and access controls.

Ensure company technology and information systems comply with relevant industry regulations, standards, and internal requirements.

Monitor and address technology-related risks and make recommendations to maintain a secure and reliable IT environment.

IT Team Leadership

Lead and manage the IT team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and supporting the professional development of staff.

Provide clear direction and leadership while giving team members the flexibility and autonomy to manage their work and schedules effectively.

Clearly establish priorities and responsibilities within the IT team and ensure personnel are able to support and back up one another as needed.

Document critical IT processes and procedures to maintain continuity of company systems and operations.

Projects & Business Support

Work with company managers to assess technology needs and complete special projects as requested.

Evaluate available solutions and provide practical, cost-effective recommendations that meet business needs.

Prepare proposals and cost estimates as required for network, data communication, and other technology initiatives.

Vendor & Licensing Management

Collaborate with external technology vendors and manage ongoing vendor relationships.

Assess third-party products and solutions for compatibility, security, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.

Ensure all company software licensing remains compliant and appropriately managed.

CURRENT PROJECTSDisaster recovery

Develop high-level disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the companyโ€™s ability to recover from disruptions and minimize downtime.

Data Center Project

Modernize and improve the companyโ€™s data center infrastructure to increase reliability, security, scalability, and long-term operational efficiency.

Company Integration

Integrate IT systems, infrastructure, and business applications with CP Feeds to improve collaboration, connectivity, and operational efficiency.

Leadership Communication & Strategic Planning

Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding progress on key initiatives, current assessments of system health, budget updates, and strategic plans.

Stay abreast of current and developing technologies and identify opportunities to improve end-user efficiency, strengthen the companyโ€™s technology environment, and manage costs effectively.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or related IT discipline
  • Certification(s) in information technology preferred
  • At least 10 years of total IT experience and a minimum of 5 years of IT Management experience is required
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of computers, servers, and their operating systems
  • Thorough comprehension of hardware and software required to provide network connectivity
  • A thorough working knowledge of resources required to manage a multi-location operation
  • Advanced experience utilizing ERP systems, phones systems and Microsoft products.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manager multiple priorities
