Annual Salary

• $60,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications*

JOB OVERVIEW

The Education Programs Coordinator drives the operational excellence of our education partnerships and internal systems. This role blends program operations, contract and vendor management, and lightweight product management to ensure seamless execution across teacher development, school partnerships, technology prototyping, and pilot initiatives. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented systems thinker and builder who enjoys experimenting with tools, improving processes, and creating practical tools to ambiguous operational challenges. This person can translate big-picture goals into repeatable, well-documented workflows and tools.

The Education Programs Coordinator will report to the Director of Education as a part of the Education department, which is responsible for leading content development and driving implementation and scale of Decision Education in schools.

LOCATION AND SCHEDULE

This full-time role requires an 8-hour day and a 40-hour work week. It is an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), meaning it is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is open to both local candidates and remote candidates. Local team members are expected to follow a hybrid schedule, working onsite at our headquarters in Bala Cynwyd, PA on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with remote work permitted on other business days. Fully remote employees are expected to maintain a productive home-based work environment and remain actively engaged with team operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Product & Pilot Support

• Serve as an operational bridge between partner schools and the internal product/development team, capturing feature requests and feedback from pilots.
• Support testing, documentation, and rollout processes for new tools or features.

Create Tools

• Support the development and maintenance of custom AI tools and GPTs to enhance workflow efficiency and facilitate organizational knowledge sharing.
• Develop creative, resourceful solutions for project management, data management, and pilot tracking - finding the right tool for the job, even when it doesn't exist yet.
• Collaborate with our Research & Development teams to monitor and improve data and information sharing across systems, including dashboards for school, teacher, and student reach.

Program & Operational Management

• Design, document, and operationalize key program workflows-including teacher stipends, pilot support processes, and school recruitment cycles.
• Coordinate across internal teams to ensure program milestones and deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Support the relationship management of school and district partners, coordinating agreements, data privacy requirements, and other operational issues.

Contract & Vendor Management

• Develop, route, and track all partner contracts, MOUs, and statements of work (SOWs).
• Manage vendor RFPs, onboarding, compliance, and renewals, ensuring deliverables align with project scopes.
• Collaborate with the finance team to confirm stipends and vendor invoices are accurate and paid promptly.

• In partnership with our Project Management & Operations team, maintain key internal systems (e.g., Salesforce, Wrike) to support team operations, workflow automation, and reporting.

These responsibilities may change or expand over time, consistent with the organization's needs and initiatives.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in operations, program management, or related roles (education, edtech, or nonprofit preferred)
• Ability to implement and improve systems and workflows across cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of contract management processes and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with data dashboards, CRM systems (Salesforce), and project management tools (Wrike, Asana, or similar)
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in K-12 education
• Experience managing or supporting program pilots, product launches, or custom technology tools
• Demonstrated curiosity and experimentation mindset; enjoys tinkering with tools, systems, workflows, or AI technologies to solve operational problems

Physical and Environmental Demands

• Primarily desk-based work involving sitting at a workstation
