Role Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Partner & Education Services, this role will be a key subject matter expert responsible for designing and developing content and toolkitsfor high-impact, learning experiences, including Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and professional services toolkits. This role is focused on building end-to-end learning journeys that enable the successful deployment, operation, and adoption of solutions in real-world environments.

Working closely with the Delivery, Enablement, Partner, and Product teams, this individual will ensure our customers and partners have the hands-on resources and technical guidance needed to master an evolving ecosystem. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and education, with a talent for translating complex product features into clear, actionable training and documentation for developer and administrator audiences. By creating world-class learning experiences, you will directly contribute to faster customer time-to-value, increased partner-led revenue, and higher overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content  Development: Design, maintain, and support content to reinforce learning through practical application. Focusing on the why not just the how. 
  • New Product Readiness: Act as a subject matter expert for new product launches, translating complex features into digestible content for our customers and partners. 
  • Subject Matter Expert: Deliver on emerging trends, industry best practices, and identity-driven digital transformation.  Maintain a broad and deep technical understanding of the Okta and Auth0  product lines and the underlying technologies and protocols
  • Content Creation: Develop clear, step-by-step documentation, tutorials, and training materials that effectively communicate complex product features and support workflows.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Review student surveys and performance data to provide feedback, build and improve resources, and identify new asset and training opportunities.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Proactively track down, validate, and synthesize information from various areas and formats to create valuable resources for our customers and  partners.
What you'll bring to the role
  • Domain Expertise: Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and web security best practices, with the ability to comfortably navigate complex product features and support workflows.
  • Technical Content Development: Proven track record of translating intricate technical concepts into clear, step-by-step documentation, actionable training materials, and engaging visual content while adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Clarity and Synthesis: The ability to synthesize information from complex product features and support workflows, creating clear, step-by-step documentation and actionable training materials.
  • Project Management: Exceptional ability to self-direct and manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written English with a clear, explanatory, and empathetic style that resonates with technical audiences.
  • AI Adaptability: Experience using AI tools to assist in research, outlining, or content optimization to accelerate and scale content creation.
And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following!
  • Knowledge of Okta & Auth0 product offerings.
  • Experience with enterprise identity lifecycle management processes and standards.
  • Experience using content generation tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or Camtasia.
