The Licensing Coordinator is responsible for driving compliance of individual persons and company licensing program. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, have the ability to interpret complex state municipal regulations and laws, and knowledge of the electrical construction trade is preferred.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Paralegal Studies, or any other applicable program preferred
Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience
Travel: 0-5%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Overtime may be required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Corresponds and follows-up with employees in order to timely renew individual licenses.
  • Researches and evaluates most cost effective means to acquire and maintain company and individual licensing needs including, but not limited to, prep classes, travel to exam site, continuing education, etc.
  • Creates and maintains credentialing database and ensuring comprehensive and user-friendly application and reporting for branch offices.
  • Evaluates company licensing needs and presents strategic solutions to maintain compliance.
  • Act as a resource to review and evaluate Company's licensing needs on customer's projects.
  • Processes license reimbursements for approved field employees.
  • Ensures company licensing compliance by monitoring newly awarded project documentation.
  • Responsible for continuously monitoring and evaluating state statutes, rules and regulations in an effort to achieve and maintain various levels of company and operational compliance.
  • Responsible for obtaining and maintaining all notary public, business, electrical contractor, master electrician, journeyman electrician, apprentice, low voltage licenses which includes overseeing the preparation and execution of information application packets, completing applications, coordinating applicant testing, continuing education, prep classes, renewals, and other associated tasks.
  • Researches, understands, and interprets state and municipal licensing statutes, rules and regulations.
  • Translates state and municipal statues, rules and regulations into company applications and operational compliance.
  • Creates and maintains web based comprehensive state licensing requirements.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
