The Opportunity
FICO is seeking a Director, Education Consulting (Sales and Marketing) to serve as the dedicated education consulting leader for Sales & Marketing within the Software organization. This role partners with Sales & Marketing leaders, SMEs, HR Partners, and Partner ecosystem stakeholders to deliver education programs and change-enablement efforts aligned to strategic priorities, executing solutions within critical opportunity windows and tracking impact through business-relevant KPIs, ROI, and productivity improvements. In this role, you will own the execution and delivery of core education programs and advisory services supporting major transformations, applying Education Consulting's mission pillars to Sales & Marketing priorities within the Software unit by engaging stakeholders, supporting alignment, driving desired outcomes, executing change management, and measuring improvement.
What You'll Contribute
  • Engage Stakeholders: Build strong working relationships with Sales & Marketing leaders, SMEs, HR partners, and Partner ecosystem stakeholders, serving as a trusted point of contact for learning and enablement needs tied to transformation priorities.
  • Support Alignment: Align education programs to Sales & Marketing priorities, transformation initiatives, operating rhythms, and performance goals as set by Sales & Marketing and Education Consulting leadership.
  • Drive Desired Outcomes: Manage the Sales & Marketing education consulting program portfolio, balancing stakeholder demand, team capacity, and timing to deliver solutions within the opportunity window required to influence business outcomes.
  • Manage Change: Identify moments that matter in Sales & Marketing workflows and execute against sources of influence - including leaders, managers, SMEs, communications, sales plays, launch moments, and reinforcement mechanisms - to improve adoption and maximize the value of education investments.
  • Measure Improvement: Track and report ROI, KPIs, productivity measures, and learning impact indicators, connecting education delivery to Sales & Marketing performance outcomes.

What We're Seeking
  • Solid experience in learning, enablement, or education consulting roles with meaningful exposure to Sales & Marketing organizations.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of education, enablement, or consulting initiatives, including prioritization, sequencing, and resource planning.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, including the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders on learning and business transformation imperatives.
  • Solid consulting skills: active listening, needs analysis, facilitation, and solution recommendation.
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including coaching Learning Consultants and senior business partners.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to frame the value and impact of learning programs clearly for stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Sales & Marketing dynamics, motions, and metrics, including sales readiness, pipeline generation, campaign execution, product launches, partner enablement, and adoption.
  • Fluency in learning measurement, Sales & Marketing business KPIs, ROI analysis, and productivity indicators, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience applying change management principles to improve adoption of new strategies, tools, processes, or operating models.
  • Ability to operate in dynamic, fast-changing environments while maintaining a calm, focused, and psychologically safe team environment.
  • Strong curiosity and passion for learning, talent development, and helping teams navigate change through education and ongoing enablement.
  • Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills; able to work through complexity and ambiguity and turn it into clear, actionable plans.
  • Leading a sales training team or major learning programs for a complex enterprise software business.
  • Selling complex enterprise software aka, "carried a bag" in a direct or indirect sales or sales support role.
  • Developing or executing partner/reseller enablement programs, including train-the-trainer models, to support partner ecosystem readiness and performance preferred.
