Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Photo Editor to support the production of high-quality visual assets for our growing product catalog.
This role will focus primarily on editing and preparing product imagery for product listings, including but not limited to white background photos, angled product photos for dimensional diagrams, front views, top views, product variations, detail images, and infographic-style assets.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, efficient, motivated, and experienced in product photo editing for e-commerce. They should be comfortable working within established brand standards, managing a high volume of assets, and collaborating with creative, product, and e-commerce teams to ensure all listing imagery is accurate, consistent, and ready for use across platforms.
This person should be able to work closely with the Visual Production Specialist while also being self-sufficient in managing their own workflow and deadlines.
Responsibilities
  • Edit and prepare white-background product images for product listings across web, retail, marketplace, and internal platforms.
  • Create and refine complete product listing images
  • Enhance image quality through color correction, retouching, cropping, masking, compositing, and shadow refinement.
  • Maintain consistency across product imagery, including lighting, color, scale, shadows, cropping, alignment, finish accuracy, and overall visual presentation.
  • Retouch product images to remove imperfections while preserving realistic product details, materials, finishes, and proportions.
  • Prepare assets for various platforms, including website product pages, retailer portals, marketplace listings, print materials, and internal use.
  • Ensure all images adhere to company standards, brand guidelines, and established product listing templates.
  • Maintain organized and accessible digital product image libraries.
  • Organize, label, and manage source files, edited files, product variations, and final exported assets.
  • Collaborate with the Visual Production Specialist and Art Director to ensure cohesive and accurate visual content.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quickly adapt and respond to time-sensitive project demands.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in product photo editing, photography, retouching, and e-commerce imagery.
  • Help streamline asset production workflows to improve speed, consistency, and organization across product listing projects.

Asset Organization Responsibilities
  • Maintain clean, structured, and easily accessible folders for all product listing assets.
  • Organize assets by SKU, product category, collection, finish, variation, angle, view, and listing use case.
  • Ensure final assets are properly named, exported, categorized, and ready for upload or handoff.
  • Keep source files, working files, and final exports clearly separated and easy to locate.
  • Ensure image sets are complete before handoff to the e-commerce, product, or creative teams.
  • Maintain consistency across shared digital libraries so assets remain accessible across departments.
  • Take accountability for workflow organization, asset accuracy, and timely delivery.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required, particularly in Photoshop
  • Strong Photoshop skills, including retouching, masking, clipping paths, compositing, color correction, cropping, shadow work, and batch editing with actions.
  • Portfolio showcasing technical editing skills, product image work, and visual consistency.
  • Strong understanding of product accuracy, scale, proportions, material finishes, and visual consistency.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to take accountability for workflow, asset organization, and timely project completion.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to keep projects organized and easily accessible across departments.
  • Strong team player with excellent cross-departmental collaboration skills.
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines, established templates, and production workflows.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and time-sensitive project needs.

Preferred, Not Required Qualifications
  • Experience creating dimensional diagrams, product feature graphics, or infographic-style listing assets.
  • Experience working with appliances, home, kitchen, interiors, furniture, hardware, or luxury product imagery.
  • Familiarity with SKU-based product catalogs and product variation workflows.
  • Knowledge of 3D rendering techniques, render editing, and rendering workflows is a plus.
  • Experience working with product renders as well as photography.
  • Experience with Premiere and After Effects is a major plus.
  • Experience with AI-assisted image editing workflows is a plus
  • Familiarity with shared asset systems, digital asset libraries, Google Drive, Dropbox, DAM platforms, Monday.com, Asana, or similar project management tools.

Compensation: Starting at $45,000 - $53,000 DOE
Pay dates are bi-weekly
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00 pm with 1-hour lunch, Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm with a 30-minute lunch
Location: Reno, NV - in person/on-site, not remote
