SAP S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management Consultant
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management covering inbound processing, outbound processing, internal warehouse movements, replenishment, physical inventory, and warehouse monitoring.
• Deep understanding of warehouse organizational structures including warehouse number, storage types, storage sections, storage bins, activity areas, work centers, staging areas, and doors.
• Expertise in warehouse process types, warehouse task creation, warehouse order creation rules, putaway strategies, picking strategies, packing, staging, loading, and goods issue processes.
• Strong configuration experience in process-oriented storage control, layout-oriented storage control, wave management, labor management, slotting, replenishment, cross-docking, and exception handling.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA embedded or decentralized EWM, SAP Fiori warehouse apps, warehouse monitor, RF framework, and mobile device transactions.
• Strong integration knowledge across EWM with MM, SD, PP, QM, TM, FI, yard management, transportation execution, and third-party automation systems.
• Experience preparing functional specifications for RICEFW objects including RF enhancements, forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, workflows, and warehouse automation integrations.
• Knowledge of IDocs, APIs, queues, PPF actions, EDI, middleware integration, barcode scanning, RF devices, conveyor systems, and automation touchpoints.
• Ability to prepare process design documents, configuration rationale, test scripts, training material, cutover task lists, and support handover documents.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead requirement gathering, fit-to-standard workshops, warehouse process design, and solution validation for SAP S/4HANA EWM processes.
• Configure and support core EWM processes including inbound delivery processing, goods receipt, deconsolidation, putaway, internal movements, picking, packing, staging, loading, goods issue, returns, and physical inventory.
• Design warehouse structures, storage types, storage bins, activity areas, work centers, process types, warehouse tasks, warehouse orders, and resource management processes.
• Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, process flows, test scripts, training material, cutover inputs, and support handover documentation.
• Work with ABAP, integration, data migration, basis, security, automation, and cross-functional teams to deliver RF transactions, PPF outputs, labels, forms, interfaces, enhancements, and reports.
• Support master data and migration activities for products, packaging specifications, warehouse product data, storage bins, fixed bins, resources, queues, and open warehouse transactions.
• Execute unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, UAT, warehouse floor validation, defect anal ysis, and business sign-off support.
• Support cutover planning, mock cutover cycles, go-live readiness, hypercare, issue triage, queue monitoring, RF issue resolution, and production stabilization.
• Collaborate with warehouse business users, logistics process owners, project managers, automation vendors, and cross-module teams to ensure solution alignment and timely delivery.
Salary Range- $110,000-$160,000 a year
