Job Title - Senior B2B EDI Engineer (IBM Sterling B2B Integrator)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior B2B EDI Engineer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise B2B/EDI integrations using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi). The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in EDI transaction processing, trading partner onboarding, Sterling Business Processes, mapping, communication protocols, and production support within large-scale B2B ecosystems across Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, CPG, Logistics, or Supply Chain domains.

Key Responsibilities

EDI & B2B Solution Development

  • Design, develop, and implement B2B/EDI solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi).
  • Develop and maintain EDI maps, business processes, and workflows using Sterling Map Editor, GPM, and BPML.
  • Configure and support inbound and outbound EDI transaction processing.
  • Build and support trading partner integrations and onboarding activities.
  • Perform EDI document transformation, validation, translation, and routing.

Trading Partner Management

  • Configure trading partner profiles, communication channels, envelopes, code lists, and agreements.
  • Manage partner onboarding, certification testing, and production deployment.
  • Coordinate with external customers, suppliers, and VAN providers for connectivity and issue resolution.

B2B Communication & Security

  • Configure and support communication protocols including:
    • AS2
  • SFTP/FTPS
  • HTTP/HTTPS
  • Connect:Direct
  • MQ
  • SMTP
  • Manage certificates, encryption, decryption, digital signatures, and secure communication channels.
