Location: Richardson, TX 75081

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Experience Required: 8โ€“10+ Years (9+ Years Preferred)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technology Specialist โ€“ EDI (Healthcare) with strong expertise in C#,.NET, MSSQL, and EDI transactions (837/835). The ideal candidate will have deep experience in healthcare data exchange, claims processing, and end-to-end software development, along with the ability to work on complex, cross-functional systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development & Engineering
    • Perform full SDLC activities: Requirements analysis, Application design, Development (C#/.NET), Testing and deployment
    • Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications
    • Write clean, reusable, and efficient code
  • EDI & Healthcare Integration
    • Work extensively with EDI transactions (837, 835)
    • Design and implement EDI integrations and data pipelines
    • Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards
    • Work with tools such as EDI Fabric (preferred)
  • Database Development
    • Design and optimize complex MSSQL databases
    • Develop advanced T-SQL queries and stored procedures
    • Ensure data integrity, performance tuning, and optimization
  • Architecture & Design
    • Design reusable components, frameworks, and libraries
    • Contribute to system architecture and design decisions
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical solutions
  • Collaboration & Leadership
    • Work with cross-functional teams (Business, QA, DevOps)
    • Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices
    • Drive improvements in development efficiency, quality, and speed
    • Support team alignment on technical goals and delivery milestones
Mandatory Skills
  • 9+ years of experience in: C# and.NET development, MSSQL (advanced T-SQL, stored procedures)
  • Strong experience in Healthcare domain (7+ years preferred)
  • Hands-on expertise in EDI transactions (837/835 claims processing)
  • Experience in end-to-end software development lifecycle
  • Ability to work on complex, cross-functional systems
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with EDI Fabric
  • Knowledge of HL7, X12 standards
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
