Job Summary:
Mallory Alexander International Logistics is a global third-party logistics provider seeking an experienced iSeries Software Developer to enhance and maintain warehouse management applications. The role involves collaborating with various teams to develop solutions that improve operational efficiency and reliability.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and support IBM i / AS400 warehouse management applications.
• Design and modify RPG, RPGLE, CL, SQL, and DB2 programs related to warehouse operations.
• Support WMS integrations with ERP systems, handheld RF devices, barcode scanners, shipping systems, and third-party logistics providers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution for warehouse and distribution operations.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, deployments, and change management processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, interfaces, and procedures.
• Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Monitor system performance and ensure application stability and data integrity.
• Assist with after-hours support as needed for critical warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years of IBM i (AS400/iSeries) development experience.
• Strong experience with RPG IV / RPGLE, CL, SQL, and DB2 for i.
• Experience supporting or developing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Knowledge of inventory control, shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and distribution processes.
