Join our team at Cobalt Benefits Group and start an exciting new career in employee benefits solutions. As an EDI Analyst, Level 1, you’ll play an important role in helping us offer customized, self-funded insurance options to our clients and members.


The EDI Analyst, Level 1 will provide lifecycle service support to clients, from scheduled file loads to ongoing support and troubleshooting. The ideal candidates will have experience in a healthcare setting with a keen eye for detail. Reporting to the EDI Team Manager. The EDI Analyst, Level 1 will act as a resource for enrollment and claims teams to improve accuracy and ease of use for internal and external processes.

Requirements:
  • Responsible for EDI file processing and data reconciliation.
  • Review and action all enrollment source specific reports.
  • Provide analysis, support, and guidance on complex EDI transfers.
  • Review EDI processes and systems to improve submission rate and improve the quality of each encounter with EDI.
  • Act as backup for teammates.
  • Other projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or 2 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Self-Starter, critical thinker with a drive to resolve complex issues with minimal direction.
