Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Senior ERP Service Owner to join them. You will report to the IT Business Partner and will have a hybrid work schedule near the Blacksburg, VA or East Aurora, NY facility reporting to the Blacksburg, Virginia site.

About the Role

Moog is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior ERP Service Owner to support the Power & Data sector. In this role, you will own the sector's ERP service, ensuring it delivers maximum value to the business while supporting operational and strategic objectives. Working closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners, you will oversee the ERP technology portfolio, lead a team of Application Analysts, drive service improvements, and help align current ERP platforms with Moog's future-state SAP strategy.

To be considered for Senior ERP Service Owner, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience in technology, enterprise applications, or ERP-related roles.

  • 3 years of experience owning or managing technical, applications, or business systems.

  • Experience managing ERP systems within a manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain environment.

  • Proven success leading ERP transformation, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Strong knowledge of ERP processes including finance, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, inventory, and master data management.

  • Experience managing vendors, licensing, support agreements, and service delivery.

  • Understanding of integrations, APIs, EDI, batch processing, SQL fundamentals, and enterprise applications.

  • Knowledge of IT service management, change management, release management, and Agile methodologies.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience supporting regulated environments with security, compliance, trade compliance, export control, or traceability requirements.

Preferred requirements

  • Master's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, Operations, or a related field.

  • ITIL, Agile, Infor LN, SAP, or related certifications are a plus.

  • Experience with Infor LN and/or SAP strongly preferred.

In the Senior ERP Service Owner position, you will:

  • Own and manage the Power & Data LN ERP platform as an end-to-end business service.

  • Develop and execute the ERP roadmap in alignment with Moog's enterprise ERP and SAP strategy.

  • Serve as the primary ERP liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners.

  • Lead ERP enhancements, upgrades, and service delivery using Agile principles.

  • Monitor service performance and ensure compliance with service, audit, security, and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead Power & Data's ERP readiness and participation in future SAP transformation initiatives.

  • Oversee integrations, interfaces, master data governance, and critical business processes.

  • Manage ERP licensing, vendor relationships, contracts, and support agreements.

  • Potentially lead, mentor, a small team

  • Drive change management, testing, release management, and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable ERP solutions that support business growth and operational excellence.
