IDS is seeking a Computer Systems Administrator I to support the administration, operation, and maintenance of enterprise computing environments. The selected candidate will provide technical support for Windows and Linux systems, assist with network and infrastructure operations, and support virtualized and cloud-based environments. This role requires experience administering computer systems, monitoring infrastructure performance, and maintaining secure and reliable computing environments in support of mission requirements. Key Duties • Administer and maintain Windows enterprise and Linux server operating systems. • Support the operation and maintenance of computer systems and network infrastructure. • Monitor system and infrastructure performance to ensure availability and reliability. • Support cloud, physical, and virtual network environments. • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot virtualized platforms and services. • Maintain system documentation and administrative records. • Assist with system updates, patches, and configuration management activities. • Support implementation and maintenance of security controls and system hardening measures. • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues. • Coordinate with technical teams to support operational and project requirements. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. • Active Secret security clearance required. • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with computer systems. • Demonstrated experience with Windows enterprise and Linux server operating systems engineering and administration. • Demonstrated experience with cloud, physical, and virtual network architecture, engineering, and infrastructure monitoring. • Expertise with hypervisors such as VMware, KVM, and Xen.
