Job description

ABOUT THE TEAM ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril is seeking a Systems Administrator to directly support our most sensitive programs. You will be a part of the team administering operating system infrastructure, implement automated configurations, and support environment deployments across all classification levels using IaC methodologies. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the world's best engineers and cybersecurity professionals as you help to implement cutting edge systems. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Administer Windows and Linux systems across NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, and SAP environments
  • Implement and maintain automated configuration management for operating systems
  • Apply security baselines and STIGs through automated configuration tools
  • Support Deployment team during environment builds ensuring proper OS configuration
  • Configure and maintain enterprise services (AD, DNS, DHCP, repository servers, patching infrastructure)
  • Monitor system health, performance, and security compliance using automated tools
  • Troubleshoot complex OS issues including authentication, permissions, and application errors
  • Maintain backup and recovery procedures ensuring RPO/RTO targets are met
  • Document system configurations, automation code, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Own deployed environments until successful ATO and user acceptance achieved
  • Transition environments to Service Desk team with proper documentation and knowledge transfer
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Active security clearance appropriate for assigned systems
  • Strong expertise in Windows Server and/or Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) administration
  • Experience with automation tools (Ansible, PowerShell DSC, scripting)
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, identity management, and LDAP integration
  • Knowledge of STIGs, security hardening, and compliance scanning
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
Expected Outcomes
  • Maintain system uptime above 99.9% excluding planned maintenance
  • Achieve patch compliance above 95% for critical/high severity updates within 30 days
  • Reduce average provisioning time through automated deployment processes
  • Pass all security audits and vulnerability scans with zero critical findings
  • Successfully deliver environments achieving ATO without security deficiencies
  • Document all configurations and automation enabling team knowledge sharing
