Compensation & Schedule Details

  • Hours & Shift: 36 hours per week (12-hour Nights).
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Target Start Date: October 5, 2026 (Candidates recommended by clinical team undergo a phone interview with the unit manager).
  • Scheduling: Every other weekend required; holiday schedule per contract. No call or standby requirements, and no floating.

Key Facility Policies & Unit Scope

  • Licensing Flexibility: An Oregon (OR) RN license is not required at time of submittal—the facility is willing to request a 90-day emergency license.
  • Unit Overview: Level III Trauma Center featuring 21 ED beds, 1 trauma bay, 4 fast-track beds, 2 triage rooms, and dedicated psych/crisis spaces. Averages ~125 patients per day.
  • Staff Support & Workflow: 24/7 ED physician coverage, mid-level support (8–16 hrs/day), ED techs, and 24/7 respiratory therapy handling ABGs and breathing treatments. RNs/techs perform blood draws and EKGs. EMR is Meditech.
  • Dress Code: Any color scrubs allowed except purple.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Recent emergency room experience required. Comfortable managing typical general ED patient populations with standard 1:4 ratios.
  • Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and TNCC required (PALS or ENPC recommended).
