Hyperscale Sales Senior Director

Position Summary
Prysmian is seeking a visionary commercial leader to shape our global hyperscale data center strategy and deepen partnerships with the world's largest cloud and AI infrastructure providers.

The Hyperscale Sales Senior Director will lead Prysmian's global commercial strategy for the hyperscale market, driving growth across cloud, AI, data center, and digital infrastructure segments. This executive leader will influence strategic investments, develop long-term customer partnerships, and help position Prysmian as the preferred infrastructure partner for the world's leading hyperscale organizations.

Working across North America and Europe, the role will lead a multidisciplinary team of commercial leaders, technical experts, application engineers, and product managers while collaborating closely with Operations, Engineering, R&D, Marketing, and Executive Leadership.
This position offers a unique opportunity to help define Prysmian's future growth strategy in one of the most dynamic and rapidly expanding markets worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
Global Business Leadership:
  • Develop and execute Prysmian's global hyperscale growth strategy, aligning commercial objectives with long-term business priorities.
  • Establish and execute annual operating plans and long-range growth initiatives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing global team of regional and strategic sales professionals.
  • Build Prysmian’s position as the preferred infrastructure partner for hyperscale customers worldwide.
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth, market share expansion, and customer adoption across hyperscale, AI, cloud, and digital infrastructure markets.
  • Identify and pursue high-value opportunities within AI factories, next-generation data centers, cloud infrastructure, edge computing, and emerging technology ecosystems.
  • Partner with regional commercial leaders to accelerate strategic account growth and expand customer engagement worldwide.
  • Influence investment priorities, market expansion initiatives, and business development strategies that strengthen Prysmian's leadership position within the hyperscale ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and R&D to align future product roadmaps with evolving customer needs, including fiber technologies, connectivity solutions, cable innovation, and next-generation infrastructure requirements.
  • Support the development and execution of commercial pricing strategies that balance growth, profitability, and customer value.

Executive Customer Leadership:
  • Establish trusted executive-level relationships with the world's leading hyperscale organizations.
  • Serve as the senior commercial leader for strategic customer engagements and global account development.
  • Lead negotiations for complex commercial agreements, global supply partnerships, and multi-year strategic contracts.
  • Drive executive business reviews and strategic planning sessions with key customers.
  • Develop long-term partnerships that create mutual value and support sustained growth.
  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders across engineering, procurement, operations, and leadership functions to align solutions with future infrastructure requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience within technology, telecommunications, infrastructure, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience selling to and managing strategic relationships with hyperscale cloud providers, telecommunications companies, data center operators, or digital infrastructure customers.
  • Proven success leading global commercial organizations and managing complex, enterprise-level customer engagements.
  • Significant experience negotiating strategic contracts, multi-year supply agreements, and executive-level commercial partnerships.
  • Experience leading and influencing cross-functional global teams.
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, fiber optic technologies, networking, connectivity solutions, or related technologies.
  • Ability to travel globally as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience working directly with hyperscale cloud providers such as Microsoft, AWS, Google, Meta, or Oracle.
  • Experience supporting AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, or next-generation data center architectures.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic connectivity, structured cabling, outside plant networks, and data center ecosystem solutions.
  • Experience within a global manufacturing organization.
  • Background in product strategy, technology commercialization, or market development.
  • Strong understanding of emerging trends across AI, cloud computing, digital infrastructure, and network connectivity.
