Job description

This intern supports the economics team with data entry, research, and preparation of reports and presentations. The intern will update databases, organize and compile information, and format charts and tables used in industry analyses and publications.

Responsibilities:
  • Support routine updates to economic, plastics, and end-markets industries databases under guidance.
  • Assist with entering and organizing data in Excel-based tools and trackers.
  • Help format charts, tables, and slides for presentations and reports.
  • Conduct data gathering from publicly available sources as directed.
  • Assist in compiling information for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Help with organizing files, tracking updates, and maintaining documentation. Provide general administrative and project support to the team.
Education & Experience:
  • Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Economics, Statistics, or Math.
  • Completed macro and microeconomic courses, econometrics preferred.
  • Experience conducting open-source research.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Written and verbal communications skills.
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work on a variety of projects, adjust to changing priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
  • Ability to provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collectively to build consensus.
