What is an ecommerce website?

An ecommerce website is an online platform that allows businesses or individuals to buy and sell products or services over the internet. These websites provide features such as product listings, shopping carts, secure payment gateways, and order management systems. Ecommerce websites can range from small online stores to large marketplaces like Amazon or eBay, making it easy for customers to shop from anywhere at any time. They play a crucial role in modern retail by offering convenience and access to a global customer base.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working on ecommerce website teams, and how can they be addressed?
