Under the direction of E-Commerce and Sales leadership, the incumbent will be responsible for the merchandising and product content for the assigned product portfolio. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Channel Partners, and 3rd Party Agency. The primary scope of the Merchandising Manager will be on but not limited to The Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart online websites. Experience working with these Retailer Vendor Portals is required. Amazon Vendor Central experience is desired but not required. We seek a leader who has a sharp eye for improving the online Brand customer experience. We welcome disruption that is bold and transformative that will drive brand growth, innovation, and consistency across North America Ecommerce channels.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop and oversee digital merchandising strategy for product setup, categorization, and on-site presentation to drive customer engagement and conversion.

  • Responsible for product page content related to assigned products to help achieve Orbit's North America Ecommerce key targets that include but not limited to:

  • Conversion rate

  • Organic Revenue Growth

  • Gross profit margin

  • Lead projects and initiatives related to Ecommerce product mix, customer experience, new product launches, within assigned product family.

  • Monitor site merchandising performance, track key performance metrics, and share regular updates and actionable recommendations with the Ecommerce Team, Marketing team, Product team, and 3P Agency.

  • Provide category performance analysis and merchandising insights to inform and make recommendations for leadership decisions and support cross-functional collaboration on ecommerce initiatives.

  • Promote continual improvement and innovation within Ecommerce organization, research new trends, and recommend process changes.

Key Cross-Functional Partnerships:
  • GIS/IT Team - Works with EDI specialist on system integration and data requirements to support catalog accuracy and order management workflows.

  • Account Management Teams - Provides merchandising insights and performance data to support channel strategies; coordinates resolution of BTR, Amazon Vine, operations, and logistics issues as needed.

  • Marketing & 3rd Party Agency - Serves as subject matter expert on product performance and conversion optimization; collaborates on content strategy and briefs agency on merchandising requirements.

  • DTC Operations - Partners with DTC Account Manager to align product presentation strategies and share performance insights across channels.

  • Supply Chain & Product Strategy - Collaborates on new product launches, SKU rationalization, and inventory positioning to optimize catalog mix.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Expert in major retailer vendor portals with proficiency in DTC platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce) and analytics tools

  • Strong analytical skills including ability to interpret VOC data, conversion metrics, and category performance to drive optimization

  • Capable of identifying performance drivers and defining requirements for improvement initiatives

  • Ability to optimize product content and site navigation for customer engagement and conversion

  • Ability to define technical requirements and lead cross-functional projects with internal teams and 3rd party agencies

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to work independently

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations

Requirements:
  • Delivers results independently with minimal supervision, exercising significant creativity with a think big approach

  • Generally, 3-7 years of experience in related roles

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field from an accredited university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
