Job description

Description:

Birmingham, AL

How You Will Impact the Big Picture:

EWTN Religious Catalogue is the retail arm of the world’s largest Catholic media network. For more than thirty years, RC has offered what Mother Angelica called “Holy Reminders” — books, sacred art, and devotional goods that keep the faces of Our Lord and Our Lady familiar in every home.

We are looking for a General Manager to lead the transformation of a legacy brand into a modern, mission-driven ecommerce business. You will own strategy, product direction, go-to-market, operations, and full P&L performance as you reinvent RC for a new generation of Catholics.

What You Will Do

You will develop and execute the long-term strategy for EWTN Religious Catalogue, overseeing merchandising, ecommerce growth, product development, fulfillment operations, and financial performance.

You will drive revenue growth, optimize the customer experience, and strengthen the Catalog’s digital presence through data-driven decision-making and innovation.

Working closely with Marketing, Creative Services, EWTN News, EWTN Publishing, and EWTN Studios, you will expand product offerings and create new opportunities to engage Catholic audiences.

You will also lead and develop a multidisciplinary team while fostering operational excellence and mission-focused service

About You

You are an accomplished ecommerce, retail, or business leader with experience managing a growing business, driving operational improvements, and leading teams through change.

You possess strong financial and analytical skills, including P&L management, merchandising, inventory planning, and demand forecasting.

You are an effective communicator who can collaborate with executive leadership, vendors, and stakeholders while maintaining a clear focus on results.

You hold an Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

Most importantly, you are a practicing Catholic who is passionate about EWTN’s mission and committed to serving the faithful through excellence in business and customer experience.

What you'll love about working here

  • We offer a career with purpose! Apply your talents, knowing your contributions help to advance EWTN’s mission of sharing the Gospel with the world.
  • Caring environment - we value the importance of family/life balance and welcome you as an EWTN family member, not just an employee.
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability insurance and Retirement Savings Plan.
  • 11 Paid Holidays and generous Paid Time Off program.
  • Tuition reimbursement through our partnership with Catholic International University.
  • Spiritual enrichment - freedom to participate in Mass, visit the chapel for prayer or attend an annual retreat.
  • Ability to learn alongside legacy employees while bringing new ideas to the growing team!
