Description
Position Summary
Responsible for photographing and listing items online, within our E-Commerce platforms. Associate must also store and maintain inventory system for E-Commerce items.
Essential Duties
(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)
1. Meets or exceeds daily listing requirements.
2. Lists all items accurately with no typos or spelling errors.
3. Identifies rare, collectible and/or unique items which will generate online sales.
4. Achieves an average selling percentage of 80%.
5. Responds to customer service inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Maintains clean, organized work and storage areas.
Supervisory Responsibilities
The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No previous experience required.
• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties.
• The associate in this position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check.
• E-commerce research and listing experience, or equivalent knowledge from personal on-line sales experience, preferred. Knowledge of Goodwill's product sales lines (i.e.- music, jewelry, art, electronics, cameras, etc.), preferred.
• Specific category skills and knowledge, such as jewelry, games, media, instruments, and electronics may factor into an Associates day to day responsibilities. In some instances, those skilled individuals may become subject matter experts and devote more/all of their time to specific categories, like those listed above.
• Knowledge of online programs such as Google, EBay, and Amazon.com, required.Experience with Excel and online research, strongly preferred. Strong creative writing ability, required. Knowledge of digital camera use, and ability to take acceptable digital photos for online listings, required.
