Position Summary

The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company's online sales strategy to drive revenue growth, increase brand awareness, and enhance customer experience. This position oversees the company's e-commerce platforms, digital product catalog, online merchandising, marketplace relationships, website performance, and digital marketing initiatives.

The E-Commerce Manager collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, IT, Operations, and Product Management to optimize online sales channels and improve overall digital commerce performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop & execute company's e-commerce strategy to increase online sales and profitability.
  • Manage and maintain the company's e-commerce, ensuring accuracy of product information, pricing, inventory, and promotional content.
  • Oversee online marketplaces and digital sales platforms.
  • Optimize product listings, descriptions, images, and digital content to improve customer engagement and conversion rates.
  • Analyze customer purchasing trends to recommend strategies to improve sales performance.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure website functionality, security, system integrations, and continuous improvements.
  • Work closely with Operations and Customer Service to ensure efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage the e-commerce budget and recommend investments that support business growth.
  • Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, pricing, and emerging technologies.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, privacy regulations, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on e-commerce performance for executive leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor’S degree in marketing, Business Administration, E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Experience
  • Five (5) or more years of experience managing e-commerce operations.
  • Experience in manufacturing or business-to-business (B2B) sales preferred.
  • Experience managing e-commerce platforms such as Sellercloud, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Experience with ERP integration and inventory management systems is highly desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and digital commerce strategies.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, email marketing, digital advertising, and online merchandising.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to analyze data and make business recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Experience with Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.
