Are you a Top Finance professional excited about growing as a Finance Manager - E-Commerce who can partner with business leaders, executives, and technology teams to turn data into insights that drive smart and fast decisions? You and our growing Finance team will play a critical role supporting Mouser's global eCommerce and digital platform, ensuring strong financial management, disciplined spend, and optimized investment in cloud, SaaS, and software-driven services. In this role, you will work closely with leaders across the organization to build and manage budgets, lead forecasting and variance analysis, and translate cloud and vendor spending into clear, executive-ready insights. Strong experience in software-centric businesses and cloud financial operations (FinOps)-including platforms such as Azure-is essential to help drive efficiency, scalability, and cost optimization. ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Financial & Budget Management
    • Build, and manage Internet Business operational budgets, including platform operations, cloud infrastructure, SaaS tools, and vendor services.
    • Lead forecasting, variance analysis, and financial tradeoff discussions in partnership with the Business leaders and groups.
    • Ensuring technology is spent aligned with approved budgets, headcount plans, and is aligned with investment in strategic priorities. Prepare and present regular financial and operational reporting to leadership.
    • Own annual planning, forecasting, and long-range financial modeling for the Internet Business portfolio.
  • Cloud Financial Operations
    • Lead Azure and GCP cloud financial operations for Internet Business, including spend allocation, tracking, forecasting, reserved capacity planning, chargeback models, etc.
    • Partner with technology leaders to translate technical decisions into financial impacts
  • Vendor Management & Procurement Oversight
    • Own financial and operational oversight of Internet Business vendors, including SaaS providers, platform partners, and professional services.
    • Ensure contract RFPs/renewals and negotiations are planned and executed on time
    • Ensure purchase orders, invoices, and vendor spending align with budgets and approvals
    • Ensure vendors are onboarded properly and continuously meet commercial and financial expectations
    • Coordinate with procurement, legal, security, and finance to ensure policy compliance and risk management.
  • Stakeholder Partnership
    • Act as the trusted financial advisor to Internet Business and its various levels of management (Director/VP/SVP)
    • Translate financial, vendor, and cloud spend data into decision support and executive-ready insights
    • Establish governance mechanisms that balance speed and scalability
    • Represent Internet Business interests in Finance-led meetings, ensuring priorities are clearly communicated and understood.
  • Develops and maintains a productive work teams by hiring qualified personnel, training, and managing performance.
  • Manages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Strong experience in financial operations, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably in e-Commerce, digital platforms, and/or technology-enabled businesses.
  • Demonstrated success managing cloud financial operations (FinOps), preferably with Azure.
  • Proven ability to oversee and optimize vendor spend and procurement workflows.
  • Experience leading or mentoring operational roles (e.g., vendor, procurement, or financial analysts).
  • Comfortable operating in a matrixed environment, working across business, finance, and technology organizations.
  • Strong executive communication skills; able to influence without direct authority across all levels.
  • Solid understanding of SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and digital commerce cost models.
  • Skill evaluation: Behavioral (80%)


 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related fields, and a minimum of 5 years prior work experience in a Finance function in Software or Technology.
  • Internal candidates: Minimum 2 years as a highly performing Mouser Team Lead or Supervisor.
  • External candidates: Minimum 3 years in a management position
  • FinOps Foundation certification or equivalent cloud financial management experience is a plus.
