OVERVIEW
World Source Integration is a leading Integrator in material handling systems which is an ever changing and growing segment of the economy. The growth of e-commerce is continuing to push the industry to new heights and World Source Integration has been growing to meet these demands.
World Source Integration is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee concurrent projects and vendors to develop automated warehouse systems and storage solutions. The Project Engineer will be for project plans, budgets, and oversight of all equipment procurement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Communication (facilitation and mature communication skills to be able to communicate to all areas of the project team and client when necessary).
  • Accountable for all aspects of the project components from start to completion
  • Transform conceptual drawings into final engineered installation drawings
  • Build equipment list and issue purchase orders for project components
  • Work with project management and install teams with on-site support
  • Hold vendors accountable for scope deliverables
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
  • 4 year degree is preferred (Engineering Preferred)
  • 3 years of Automation/Logistics/Supply Chain Industry Mechanical Engineering experience required (Conveyor, Rack and Mezzanines)
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Computer Skills
  • AutoCAD, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, amp; Word
Knowledge and Abilities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel to various job sites in the U.S. when needed
  • Ability to think outside of the box and understand the broad category needs
  • Experience in multiple warehouse automation applications (Conveyor System Design, Automated Sortation, Rack, Structures, Pick Modules, Pick to Light, Voice Pick, etc.).
