Overview

A growing organization is seeking an Ad Operations Specialist to support digital advertising and paid media execution across a variety of advertising technology platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys highly detail-oriented work, thrives in fast-paced campaign environments, and has hands-on experience supporting digital advertising operations.

The Ad Operations Specialist will play a key role in campaign setup, trafficking, quality assurance, platform monitoring, and ongoing operational support across multiple paid media channels. Candidates should be comfortable working within advertising platforms, managing campaign details at scale, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure smooth campaign delivery and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Support campaign setup, trafficking, and maintenance across digital advertising and media buying platforms
  • Create and manage campaign taxonomies, tracking structures, and advertising-related coding systems
  • Generate and maintain QR codes and other campaign assets used in digital advertising initiatives
  • Execute audience creation and assist with audience governance within advertising platforms
  • Manage creative asset timelines and monitor asset expirations
  • Coordinate campaign execution communications with internal teams and external partners
  • Conduct pre-launch and ongoing quality assurance checks across placements, creative assets, targeting, URLs, redirects, and tracking implementations
  • Monitor campaign pacing and identify platform disapprovals or delivery issues
  • Assist with troubleshooting campaign setup and ad delivery issues within advertising platforms
  • Maintain accurate internal documentation related to campaign execution and platform configurations
  • Support process improvements and documentation of operational best practices
  • Research advertising technology trends, platform updates, and operational enhancements
  • Assist with additional paid media operational support needs as needed

Required Skills

  • 23 years of experience in advertising operations, media operations, campaign trafficking, or digital advertising support
  • Hands-on experience working within paid media and advertising technology platforms
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience performing campaign quality assurance and troubleshooting campaign delivery issues
  • Understanding of digital advertising workflows, campaign execution processes, and tracking structures
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across marketing, media, and operational teams

Experience with one or more of the following platforms is strongly preferred:

  • Campaign Manager 360 (CM360)
  • Display & Video 360 (DV360)
  • Google Ads
  • Integral Ad Science
  • The Trade Desk
  • Yahoo DSP
  • Amazon DSP
  • Microsoft Ads

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting high-volume digital advertising campaigns
  • Familiarity with campaign reporting and monitoring tools
  • Experience working within larger media operations or paid media environments
  • Exposure to ad verification, audience management, and advertising governance processes
