Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Senior Ecommerce Operations Specialist to join our team! 

As a Senior Ecommerce Operations Specialist you will: 

Lead enterprise level eCommerce operational programs that improve scalability, efficiency, sustainability, and customer experience across Global Direct eCommerce. This role owns the design, execution, and evolution of eCommerce operating models, serving as a senior subject matter expert and operational leader across North America.

Operating as a lead professional without direct people management, this role shapes how eCommerce operations function by defining standards, solving highly complex problems, driving automation and analytics, and influencing cross functional partners to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Essential Functions
  • Lead enterprise level eCommerce operations initiatives, managing complex programs from concept through sustained delivery to achieve operational, customer, and business objectives.
  • Define and standardize global eCommerce operating models, including process design, documentation, governance, and scalable execution practices across business units.
  • Lead cross functional workstreams by coordinating resources, dependencies, risks, and timelines across Marketing, Customer Experience, Planning, Logistics, IT, Sales, and Finance.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point and subject matter expert for eCommerce operational systems, processes, and workflows, providing guidance and resolution leadership without direct authority.
  • Develop, automate, and translate advanced operational analytics (e.g., inventory, forecasting, fraud prevention, and performance metrics) into executive level insights and decision support.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, introduce automation, reduce operational risk, improve sustainability, and enhance customer outcomes.
  • Mentor and support onboarding of new eCommerce operations contributors through expertise, knowledge transfer, and informal leadership.
  • Stay current on industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies, applying best practices to strengthen Haworth’s eCommerce operating model.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Analytics, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a similar field of study.
  • 5 years experience in ecommerce operations, logistics, supply chain, or similar with Bachelor’s Degree (5 years related experience with Master’s Degree)
  • Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education
  • Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7 years experience in ecommerce operations, logistics, supply chain, or similar
  • Proficiency wiith Microsoft Office Suite..
  • Exposure using AI to help with business efficiency.
  • Experience using ERP systems. 
  • Progressive experience in eCommerce operations, program management, analytics, or operations leadership
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross functional, multi region initiatives with measurable business or customer impact
  • Proven ability to influence outcomes and drive change without direct people management
