Job description

Our client, a leading property management and industrial development organization, is seeking a Carpentry and Building Maintenance Associate to join their team. As a Carpentry and Building Maintenance Associate, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting property upkeep and building maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Negaunee, MI

Pay Range: $18 to $25

Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance to keep facilities in optimal condition
  • Assist with carpentry tasks such as framing, drywall installation, sanding, and painting
  • Conduct roof inspections and maintenance to ensure structural integrity
  • Support plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems troubleshooting and repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and assist with other maintenance tasks as needed

What's Needed?

  • Experience in carpentry and building maintenance
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills for record-keeping and planning
  • Valid Driver's License/Chauffeur Driver's License (testing fee reimbursement available)
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
