Speer Air

Rockaway, NJ • On-site

Job description

HVAC Service Coordinator
Full-Time | Year-Round Employment
Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM | One Saturday per Month: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
Starting at $22-$24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Not everyone enjoys a fast-paced office. Ours isn't quiet, and it isn't predictable.
If you genuinely enjoy helping people, take pride in delivering excellent customer service, stay organized, adapt when priorities change, and like being the person others can count on, you'll fit right in at Speer Air.
At Speer Air, our Service Department keeps hundreds of homeowners comfortable throughout the year. When someone's air conditioner stops working in July or their heat goes out in January, we're often the first call they make. That means every day brings new priorities, unexpected challenges, and opportunities to make a real difference.
We're looking for someone who wants a full-time, long-term career-not temporary or seasonal employment. You'll work alongside our Service Manager and become an important part of the team that keeps our service department running smoothly.
What You'll Do
As our HVAC Service Coordinator, you'll help keep the entire service department organized and moving forward. Your responsibilities will include:
Answering incoming customer phone calls
Scheduling maintenance, repair, and service appointments
Creating service tickets and dispatching the right technician for the job
Working with our Service Manager to build efficient daily routes
Adjusting schedules when emergencies arise or priorities change
Processing technician invoices and timesheets
Preparing repair estimates and quoting replacement parts
Ordering parts and scheduling return visits
Managing inventory for our service technicians
Preparing maintenance renewal reminders
No two days are exactly alike. Priorities change, emergencies happen, and you'll play a key role in helping our customers and technicians every day.
What We're Looking For
The right person for this role enjoys being busy and takes pride in staying organized.
You'll spend a large part of your day talking with customers. Many are calling because something in their home isn't working, so you'll need to stay patient, professional, and focused on helping them-even when they're frustrated.
You'll also work closely with several service technicians, each with different schedules, personalities, and service areas. You'll need to think ahead, adapt throughout the day, and communicate clearly with both customers and your team.
If you enjoy solving problems, checking things off your to-do list, and being the person who helps keep everything running, you'll fit in well here.
HVAC or dispatch experience is a plus, but it isn't required. We're happy to train someone with excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and a willingness to learn.
Experience with ESC Dispatch software is also a plus, but not required.
Benefits
Starting at $22/hour, based on experience
Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
401(k)
Life Insurance
Short-Term & Long-Term Disability
Paid Holidays
Paid Vacation (increases with tenure)

Why Speer Air?

This isn't the easiest office job you'll find-but it's one that matters.
Every day you'll help people whose heating, air conditioning, or generator isn't working. You'll support technicians who rely on you to keep their day running efficiently. You'll solve problems, help customers, and finish each day knowing your work made a difference.
If you're dependable, enjoy helping others, and are looking for a stable, full-time career where your work truly matters, we'd love to hear from you.
